The staff/volunteers on site are true lovers of trains and streetcars and it is obviously reflected in everything they do.

It's an excellent day outing for family with kids. We adults and my grandson enjoyed the antique train ride. Excellent service. People working there were very polite and helpful. Very clean station and washrooms. We enjoyed self tour of the antique trains museum.

This a really fun destination for kids, as they will see all the old streetcars and subways, and get to walk through them. It's a trip down memory lane for older adults too. And there's a fun ride you get to take on an old streetcar with a stop you can make for ice cream.

Anyone who loves old time transit, and who doesn't, will find this living museum fascinating. There are always 3 electrically powered vehicles making regular trips around the 2 Km track. All are painstakingly restored. Lots of memorabilia and souvenirs are available.

Suggestion is to couple this trip with The Donkey Sanctuary of Canada (a 20 minute drive), and you have the perfect day trip from nearby cities (Toronto).

We were not disappointed. Excellent place to bring the kids (both young and old). Super kid-friendly and I was shocked at how CLEAN AND NEAT the grounds/trains & stock yards are (considering other venues of similar ilk that I've visited in the past were nowhere near as tidy as this).

Several days have passed since our visit and we're still talking about it. We most certainly will be returning to visit once again in the near future.

Great place to visit with the kids. The folks that run this place are amazing. You won't regret going.

Have driven past the front gates to this museum many times with the intention of visiting and finally got around to it.
